Pécs in Hungary is one of three cities which are chosen as “Cultural Capital for Europe 2010″ (the others are Essen, Germany and Istanbul in Turkey).
EBE will perform live in Pécs this December, in a collaboration project with Marek Choloniewski from Kraków, Poland.
Marek Choloniewski has been working on different iterations of GPS-based performances and installations, now he is joining forces with EBE to create a live performance/installation piece for (and with) Pécs.
Sound and video recordings took place in Pécs in May, the piece has been written and produced during a collaborative summer residency in July and EBE and Choloniewski will return to Pécs again in December for a full length performance.
